Based in Toronto, Caitlin is Contributing Beauty Editor for The Globe and Mail’s Style Advisor magazine. Her writing has also appeared in The New York Times, The Toronto Star, FASHION and many others. In keeping with this issue’s theme of the year 2000 and OpenRoad’s 25th anniversary, we asked some of our contributors, “What do you think is the most significant invention and/or event of the past 25 years?” Caitlin replied, “Definitely the smartphone and 9/11. But on a personal note, it would be the ability to work from anywhere. I’ve been fortunate to travel to far-flung destinations like Marrakesh, Istanbul and Tokyo, and make regular working trips to favourite cities like London, Paris and Montreal.”
