A freelance writer with an especially great love for food and travel, Lauren has written for major newspapers and magazines in the U.S. and Canada. Over the past 29 years, her stories have been published in the Jerusalem Post, Boston Herald, Vancouver Sun and Austin Statesman, as well as consumer and in-flight magazines. The most prominent female role model in her life, she says, was her mother, Shirley. “Though she passed 23 years ago, her combination of gentle wisdom, enduring love of family, and passion for her work continue to shape how I live my life.”
