Perry King is a Toronto-based author, with a literary focus on sports, education, history and urbanism. He has bylines with Sportsnet, the Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail, the Narwhal, the BBC, among other places. His debut book, Rebound: Sports, Community and the Inclusive City, was published in 2021 by Coach House Books. He's currently working on his next book with Dundurn Press, about Black baseball history in North America. Who is the most powerful figure in his life? His toddler daughter.
