2025 Porsche 911

The iconic Porsche 911 has always been a symbol of performance and precision, and the latest 992.2 generation continues this legacy by blending timeless design with cutting-edge technology and performance.

At first glance, the 992.2 retains the unmistakable silhouette that has defined the 911 for decades. Subtle updates, such as redesigned headlights and revised front and rear fascias, give the iconic sports car a modern edge. Inside, the new fully digital instrument cluster offers deeper infotainment integration, allowing Apple CarPlay content to be displayed if desired. A two-seater configuration comes standard, though second-row seats can be added at no extra cost.

Under the hood, the 992.2 offers a range of powertrains to suit different driving styles. The standard Carrera is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine delivering 388 horsepower and a 0–100 km/h time of just 4.1 seconds. The Carrera T is the lightest variant and comes with a six-speed manual gearbox, while the Carrera S gains 30 horsepower over its 992.1 predecessor, producing 473 horsepower and accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.

For those seeking more excitement on the road, the new GTS trim debuts Porsche’s T-Hybrid system, which pairs an integrated starter-generator with an electrically assisted turbocharger. This setup launches the GTS from 0 to 100 km/h in a blistering 3.0 seconds, making it the quickest variant in the current lineup. Rear-axle steering comes standard on this trim, enhancing stability at high speeds and improving maneuverability at low speeds.

For drivers who prefer a purer driving experience, the track-focused GT3 remains a compelling alternative.

More variants of the 992.2 will likely arrive in the future, including the highly anticipated Turbo trim. Whether you’re a longtime Porsche enthusiast or a newcomer to the brand, the 992.2 offers a perfect blend of tradition and innovation, ensuring the 911 remains the ultimate do-everything German sports car.
