Sara is a Vancouver-based freelance magazine editor and journalist. She is the former editor-in-chief of The Georgia Straight and Montecristo, and has written for publications including Maclean’s, The Globe and Mail and Vice. “As much as it pains me,” she says, she believes the most significant invention of the past 25 years is the iPhone. “While other smartphones came before it, I think the iPhone can be credited with single-handedly changing — notice I didn’t say improving — how we interact with each other, technology and even our own thoughts.”
